These General Terms and Conditions apply to the rental and reservation of our beach houses.

Reservations
You can make a reservation via our site www.strandhuisjeszeeenzon.nl after which your reservation, after receipt of the down payment, is immediately final. The tenant will receive a confirmation by e-mail within 24 hours.
The landlord confirms the reservation within 24 hours after receipt of reservation and deposit. You are requested to check this confirmation for correctness upon receipt. If you have not received the confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us by e-mail.
Rental costs
The rent includes:
- The rent of the beach house as stated on the website strandhuisjeszeeenzon.nl
- Water, electricity and VAT
- Kitchen package (consisting of dishwashing brush, towel, tea towel, dishcloth and 2 dishwasher tablets)
- Sheet package (consisting of pillow, mattress and duvet cover; beds are made for you)
The rent does not include:
- Tourist tax €2,00 p.p.p.n.
- Final cleaning €85,- (You must leave the beach house swept clean and free of dishes upon check-out; if this is not observed, we will charge extra cleaning costs)
Optional to book:
- High chair € 10,-
- Cot €10,-
- Towel package €6.00 p.p
Payments
After reservation, the tenant must make a deposit of 50% of the total rent. You can do this with IDEAL or credit card. After receipt of payment, the reservation is final. If the deposit has not been received, the reservation will expire. The remaining amount must be transferred at least six weeks before arrival. You will receive a reminder via email with a payment request.
When booking within eight weeks before arrival, the entire amount must be paid immediately after booking by IDEAL or credit card.
You can collect the keys to your beach house at Strandpaviljoen Zee en Zon upon presentation of your confirmation and valid proof of identity.
Changes and Cancellation.
If canceled up to 8 weeks (56 days) before the arrival date, the cancellation costs are 25% of the rental amount.
If canceled up to 6 weeks (42 days) before the arrival date, the cancellation costs are 50% of the rental amount.
If canceled up to 4 weeks (28 days) before the arrival date, the cancellation costs are 75% of the rental amount.
In case of cancellation within 2 weeks (14 days) before the start of the rental period, the cancellation costs amount to 100% of the rental amount.
A rebooking is possible up to 8 weeks (56 days) before the start of the rental period in consultation, based on availability. The costs for this are € 25.00.
A cancellation by the tenant must be confirmed at all times in writing or by e-mail, stating the reservation name, rental period and reservation number.
House Rules
You can check in from 3 pm. If, for whatever reason, you arrive after 20:00 on the day of arrival, you are requested to inform us by telephone or e-mail.
On the day of departure you can check out until 10 am. If you want to leave before 08:00 that day, you must inform us the night before before 20:00.
The beach houses are suitable for 5 people. Exceeding this number is not allowed. Groups of young people are by definition not allowed.
In case of violation, we reserve the right to terminate your stay immediately.
It is not permitted:
- To smoke or burn incense in the cottage
- Own appliances such as barbecues, gas burners, deep fryers, ovens, baking trays, infrared lamps, electric heaters and other electrical appliances can be taken with you and used.
- Bring pets
- Store goods outside
By order of the fire brigade and the municipality of Katwijk, it is prohibited to barbecue and/or use an open fire at the beach houses and on the beach.
We request that you reduce the noise from 10.30 pm in order to avoid any noise nuisance for other guests and local residents.
By causing nuisance to other guests and/or causing damage to the beach house, you run the risk of having to leave the beach house.
The tenant must comply with all other house regulations that are included in the welcome folder of the beach houses.
Liability
We assume that you treat nature, the environment and the beach houses with respect. The main tenant (minimum 21 years old) mentioned in the confirmation is responsible for an orderly course of affairs in and around the beach house.
Any form of damage, damage or loss of inventory or accommodation must therefore be settled immediately by the main tenant. Zee en Zon does not accept any liability for:
- loss, theft, damage or accidents caused to persons and/or goods during or as a result of a stay in the beach house.
- the breakdown or deactivation of technical devices in the beach house.
Zee en Zon does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Despite the good care, it is still possible that you have a complaint.
Complaints must be reported on time and on site so that Zee en Zon has the opportunity to resolve the complaint.

Others
Dutch law applies to the rental agreement.
With these Terms and Conditions of August 2022, all previous related publications are superseded.
